Below are invitations exchanged between Wor. William Powell of the Prince Hall Pride of Fairfax Lodge No. 298 and myself for Fraternal Visitations in the upcoming months. It is my understanding that Wor. Powell will be visiting John Blair in April with some of his brethren. I will be scheduling a Fraternal Visitation with the Pride of Fairfax Lodge either near the end of April or the beginning of May. This is one of the visitations outside of our jurisdiction that I will be scheduling in the upcoming months. I have a few lodges in mind, but if any brother has a lodge that they wish to have a Fraternal Visitation, please send me an email.

It was a pleasure speaking with you on the phone a few weeks ago. I and John Blair Lodge No. 187 A.F & A.M. look forward to our upcoming visitations between our lodges. To facilitate this further, it would be in both of our lodges' best interests to extend our brotherly friendships through written word (in this case email), for the purpose of keeping records. I will give a copy of your response to our lodge secretary for inclusion in April's minutes, as well as send it to our District Deputy Grand Master to officially inform him of our visitations.  Please use this email as my official invitation to the Pride of Fairfax Lodge No. 298 for official fraternal visitations with John Blair Lodge No. 187. As we are beginning these visitations, and we are in separate jurisdictions, I would only ask that I am notified of visitations. I want to first make sure that we at John Blair are not planning on having extensive lodge business discussions. John Blair Lodge will in turn notify you of future visitations, as we do not wish  to intrude into any lodge business that the Pride of Fairfax Lodge No. 298 will conduct.
