Thanks for the list; I should be able to update the page today. I can
also update the menu to include the library. I suspect that when we sit
down as a committee a lot of the content will end up reorganized,
though.
For the moment until I have a better feel for what the GL wants, I am
only going to list the Masonic books. Assuming it's OK with the GL,
I'll probably list other books of Masonic interest ... for those books
you didn't want to list off the bat, it may be best to simply tell
anyone who inquires about the books in the "spiritual" list that you
have others as well, if they're interested.
John had a good suggestion last night, as well- we can include other
non-book media (movies, etc.) that would be of interest to the Craft.
This would probably include lots of non-Masonic stuff, such as a
documentary on the Knights Templar I have, so that'll have to wait until
I hear the GL's opinion on non-Masonic content.
As far as reviews/ratings go, feel free to submit a review or discussion
of any media listed. I didn't include that as an integral part of the
page for two reasons: one, I don't suspect that most members will want
to write one up; and two, I don't want to deter any member from
including their books for fear that they will be expected to submit a
review. I'm divided on the rating system- on the pro side, it's
visually attractive and provides more information than a simple listing
of books. On the con side, most people won't list books they didn't
like- though I have at least one I bought and didn't end up liking.
